Mr. Kosta Hadzi Antonovski
The ideological creator of "The Small Montmartre of Bitola", Mr. Kosta Hadzi Antonovski this year marks his two important jubilees: 76 year of his life and 55 years career as a painting artist and art pedagogue educator.
Born in Bitola on 22. 05. 1935, he graduated at School of Applied Arts in a class of the most famous Macedonian fine arts artists Borko Lazeski and Lazar Lichenoski. Since 1981 he is the manager of the Children Art Studio St. Cyril and Methody - Bitola. Although since 2001 Mr. Kosta went on a deserved rest, the retirement, he continue to work with the members of the Studio and at the same time he continue to organize the festival The Small Montmartre of Bitola. These and many more obligations after his retirement he performed voluntary.
Kosta Hadzi Antonovski has given a precious contribution in the field of children education and artistic creation of Macedonian culture. He is an exceptional and very genuine person, a great enthusiast of the art, idealist but also a practitioner. At the same time he is a born pedagogue, someone with untold love for the children.
For his lasting and fruitful wirk, Kosta Hadzi Antonovski has been awarded with great number of domestic and international appreciation. He is a winner of the Ministry of Education of R. Macedonia "St.Climent award", twice he is awarded by the highest recognition of the city of Bitola, the award of "4th of November" (once for the art education and the second time for a life achivment award). For his exceptional training work he has been procalimed as a "distinguished pedagogue of Yugoslavia"…He was granted with the highest recognition - Medal of Honor of the City of Paris (France) as well as the award of the Festival Montmartre of Europe - Paris for the great contribution given by The Small Monmartre of Bitola for the multimedia festival Montmartre of Europe held in Paris. Order of Republic of France for culture,Nehru Award for culture and award by Television “Orbis” - Bitola for lifetime achievment.
For the restless art pedagogue - educator Kosta Hadzi Antonovski it is of great success that "The Small Montmartre of Bitola" exists for 30 years.
Prof. D-r. Bogomil Karlavaris
Prof.d-r Bogomil Karlavaris(1924-2010) is confirmed friend of "The Small Montmartre of Bitola". He wrote and published many epigraphs in domestic and foreign professional magazines about the work and the success of "The Small Montmartre of Bitola". By all that he gave a hugh contribution for affirmation of "The Small Montmartre of Bitola" in eks yu-republics, in Europe and worldwide. With his long term expirience and expertness, Prof.d-r Bogomil Karlavaris two full decades contributes for quality of the international exhibition "Bitola" and many of his suggestions are builtin the programme contents of "The Small Montmartre of Bitola".
Bogomil Kralavaris always comes with love to Bitola where he has a lot of sincere friends. The years and the long distance wre never the obstacle for him. He always talks and writes with admiration for Bitola, calling her a cosmopolitan town, world center of the children art creation, town where the young people are coming with pleasure and makinf efforts for peace and tolerance between people from all countries in the world.
Starlit successes of "The Small Montmartre of Bitola"
PARTICIPATION ON THREE OLYMPIC GAMES
On the international competition for participation on "The Small Montmartre of Bitola" there were many works dedicated to sport games. Regarding the fact that there was a great interest for sport arose by the young from Europe and world wide the Studio in cooperation with Macedonian Olympic Committee and International Olympic Committee of Lausanne (Switzerland) promote this novelty to the work of "The Small Montmartre of Bitola"- the organizing of sport happenings entitled as "Olympic games in children eyes"
Those sport happenings were held on open air, on "Goce Delcev" square in Bitola with attendance of all participants of "The Small Montmartre of Bitola" of the current year. Three such events were organized till now and an art work collection has been found "The young from around the world and olimpisam".
This collection of "The Small Montmartre of Bitola" was first presented in Skopje. The exhibition was announced open by Huan Antonio Samaranch president of the International Olympic Committee and Vasil Tupurkovski president of Macedonian Olympic Committee.
Representative exhibitions consist of those art works by the presentation of art creations on theme "The young from around the world and olimpism" promotes "The Small Montmartre of Bitola" on two Olympic games: in Sidney 2000 and Athena 2004.
On the occasion of the Olympic games Sidney 2000 "The Small Montmartre of Bitola" present a magnificent exhibition consist of more than three hundred art works about the "Olympic games". The exhibition was accommodated in Art Gallery of city of Wollongong and it arose a great interest among the participants of the Olympic games as well as among the art devotees from Wollongong and surrounding cities. On the request of Macedonian immigrants the exhibition visited Rockdale, a twin town with Bitola.
"The Small Montmartre of Bitola" presented such great exhibition on the Olympic Games in Athena 2004. The exhibition was accommodated in Balkan Olympic Center in the Municipality of Marusi, in the immediate vicinity of Olympic village. In the presence of many distinguished guests the exhibition was announced opened by Mr. Blagoj Handziski Macedonian ambassador in Athena.
The third performance was in Beijing - China2008 in organization of Macedonian Olympic Committee.
